LA28 Hospitality Packages: Mountain Bike

Olympic Mountain Bike challenges cyclists on a cross-country course featuring a mix of climbs, descents and different terrains. Races are 3.5-6km in length, and throughout multiple laps, athletes must make split-second decisions on rocky and undulating terrain all while hurtling at immense speeds on specialty bikes. Spectators line up along the course to watch the fast-paced action up close, from the start to the winner crossing the finish line. This event displays endurance, adaptability and mental resiliency, as athletes are removed from the race if their time is 80% slower than the leader's first lap and the number of laps is undecided until the day before competition.
