Hockey, also known as Field Hockey, is a high-speed field sport played by two teams of 11 players. The objective is to score by playing the ball into the opposing team's goal using the flat side of a curved stick. The winner is determined by who has the most goals at the end of four action-packed 15-minute quarters. Olympic Hockey is played on a synthetic turf field by athletes with highly refined technical mastery, physical prowess and tactical acumen, creating a dynamic and thrilling spectator experience.
Field hockey has been part of the Olympic Games for over 100 years, making it one of the oldest team sports on the program.
